For over a decade, Bridging the Gap with Reentry has been deeply embedded in Alameda County's reentry support landscape. Established as a nonprofit organization three years ago, we address the critical needs of over 5,000 individuals who return from incarceration annually. Our work directly tackles the challenges facing our returning citizens, where 75% experience homelessness within their first year of release.
